Our groundbreaking initiative in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy aimed to transform the proficiency of healthcare professionals across continents. Targeting global regions with pressing healthcare needs, MedAll reached 67 countries with vital DMD education.
Our primary objective was to enhance HCPs' capabilities in early DMD detection and management, ensuring early and effective interventions. This initiative was not just about disseminating information but about equipping frontline professionals with the tools to make a tangible difference.
Leveraging MedAll’s advanced platform, the program delivered a multi-faceted, multilingual, ACCME-accredited program through interactive sessions and on-demand micro-learning case-based modules, ensuring no HCP was left behind regardless of location.
Post-program analysis revealed significant enhancements in DMD clinical practice:
we measure what really matters.
A significant improvement was demonstrated in the competency of HCPs detecting and diagnosing DMD early.
Specific improvement in integrating with existing referral networks, including pediatric neurologists, neuromuscular specialists, and geneticists.
The program provided frameworks to support HCPs use of telemedicine to reduce inequalities in access to neuromuscular specialists.
Improved use of current clinical guidelines, as well as evaluation and modification of treatment protocols regularly, based on response and new scientific evidence, ensuring optimal care.
